New Ministerial Home in Detroit
Congratulations to A Ray of Hope Life Changing Center. We have now added a new Ministerial Home for Mothers with children in the growing city of Detroit Michigan. Mothers are learning to balance family, home work and ministry as well as achieve their personal goals in life.
The children living in the home are also attending the A Ray of Hope Academy, a private school, focusing on individualized curriculum's for each student.
We thank God for sponsors to help to fund the doors open and our mothers in college. Repairs and remodeling projects are still in progress and your tax deductible donations are always appreciated.

Sister2Sister is a program coordinated by A Ray of Hope Inc. A Non-Profit organization. The program is focused on preparing and establishing a safe residence housing with a family atmosphere, helping pregnant teenage girls aging out of foster care and women in transit find their purpose in life preparing them to be productive and responsible members of society. Sister2Sister is aware of the urgent need to protect these young women.
Young people at risk, especially pregnant girls are generally rejected in their community, living a life on the edge of society, not knowing whether they will ever have a chance to pursue their ambitions and dreams. They are tied up in everyday sorrow's and struggle financially to survive and provide for themselves and for their babies. Life requires from them an extra effort to believe that they are still able to fulfill their purpose. It is documented in many cases of single parent girls leaving foster care and young women in transition, that they will give up on their aspiration and even on LIFE as such.... Sister 2 Sister is aware of that.
We identify this problem in our society as an alarming truth, a deep wound which has to be treated. It is no longer necessary to watch tv shows or browse the internet to see the children in the third world countries suffering! We encounter these challenges right at our front door! So let's consider the issues confronting our own children and take action in OUR NEIGHBORHOODS and in OUR CITIES concerning these young women.
